I study your photo to preserve subtle expressions, then use quality Faber Castell Graphite Pencils on Windsor and Newton 260gsm Mixed Media Pape, to blend hair-by-hair strokes with soft tonal modelling for depth and luminous greys.

Bespoke coloured pencil pet portraits, rendered with meticulous detail and a refined colour palette. Each commission captures your companion’s unique character—fur texture, expressive eyes and subtle markings—on Strathmore Toned Gray/Tan 300gsm Mixed Media Paper using Faber Castell’s Polychromas Oil Based Colour Pencils. Each piece is hand-drawn from your photographs and finished with careful layering and burnishing to achieve depth and lifelike softness. Perfect as a cherished keepsake or thoughtful gift.

Soft Pastel is used as a base layer on my Coloured Pencil Commissions. I use Shore & Marsh Pastels with Sofft Pastel Sponges to apply before I build the Coloured Pencil on top.

Every piece is Packaged with security in mind, using cellophame packaging to protect the piece, Bubblewrap/Paper Honeycomb to add padding, a board to add stability, all inside a boarded envelope.
Royal Mail 48 Hr Tracked service is used for all pieces, unless agreed otherwise.

Each Commission comes with a Certificate of Authentication, unique to each piece with its own Edition Number. It also includes the Dimensions, Medium and Name of the piece as well as My Signature. This is to be kept with the commission, as it shows the authenticity of the Artwork.
The Process
Order
First you need to Order your commission through my ‘Contact’ Page by completing the form provided. Then we will get your commission booked in at the next available date (1 week slots). We will discuss the details of your piece, the composition and what references you wish to use over email (or Video Call if you prefer).
Commission Agreement
Once we have discussed your Commission, I will send over a unique commission agreement which will contain all the details we have discussed as well as pricing etc. If you wish to continue, and agree with your Commission Agreement, I will ask for a 50% Deposit using a Secure Payment Link. This will then secure your Commission Slot!
Commission
Now the ball will start rolling! As soon as your appointed Commission slot arrives (unless stated otherwise) i will start your commission! They usually take between 1-1.5 week (working days) to complete, depending on size, number of pets and media.
Complete
Once your commission is complete, I will send you a picture of the finished piece and request the remaining cost as well as the P&P cost! As soon as these are received, your piece will be shipped using Royal Mail 48Hr Tracked!
